Annisgarth is a small victorian house in a residential area only 5 minutes walk from all the shops, restaraunts and pubs of Bowness on windermere. Room 1 is a double en-suite with a zip and link bed which can be used as a king or twin. Room 2 is a small double with private adjacent toilet and shower room. Room 3 is a double with en-suite spa bath and walk in shower. All rooms have tv and dvd players with tea and coffee facillities. Please note- Parking is on street but not restricted.(if you have trouble parking please ask i will move my vehicle if possible)
Chestnut Villa was originally built in 1904, as a Coaching Inn and is situated on the edge of the picturesque 'honeypot' village of Grasmere. Under new management, the new owners are refurbishing bringing a fresh decor and relaxed, calm atmosphere. Guests are greeted with a warm welcome and are encouraged to come and go as they please with their own key. The B&B has a large and comfortable visitors lounge and a spacious dining room. With fruit, cereal, juice and a full English', we don't want you to leave hungry and strive for all our food to be tasty and healthy. All ingredients are sourced locally wherever possible - further details on dining can be seen on the website. If you have any special requests or requirements please let us know. Chestnut Villa has a total of seven shower en-suite rooms all containing tea/coffee facilities, colour TV and hair driers. One Junior Suite comprises a Superior Double en-suite with an adjoining lounge which has two diital flat screen TV's and a DVD/CD player. The second Junior Suite has a sitting area with digital flat screen TV, DVD/CD player & enjoying double aspect views. Each of the bedrooms has its own special charm and character and all offer delightful views across the vale to Grizedale Forest and Coniston beyond.
